3rd Degree are proud to welcome Lauren Pritchard to perform this year’s opening night on Friday 16th April, along with Rachael Wright, Tibi and her Cello and Shane Beales.
From Tennessee to Shepherds Bush London, rising soloist Lauren Pritchard is both bemused and chuffed that Island Records have whisked her off on an extensive UK tour comprising of over 20 dates. Having only recently signed Lauren, Island Records, a label who boasts the likes of Amy Winehouse and U2, clearly knows that despite the digital age, rigorous touring is still essential when it comes to emerging artists. We are proud to host an evening with Lauren as part of her 2010 UK tour, where she will be showcasing songs from her latest EP release, entitled ‘The Jackson Sessions’ available at the end of April.

The 3rd Degree Music Festival shines a light on the hottest emerging talent…
Running into its fifth consecutive year, the 3rd Degree Festival has blossomed into a tour de force of emerging talent, featuring performances from over thirty LIPA bands.
Each night follows a musical and visual theme taking you on a visceral journey through Indie, rock, jazz, nu-folk, soul and a whole lot more. The main hub of the festival is the 350 capacity proscenium-arched Paul McCartney Auditorium which will be transformed into various themed wonderlands over the duration of the festival. Acting as a springboard for bands to start their careers, previous success stories have included the likes of Sandi Thom, The Wombats and Eugene McGuiness, to name a few.
Taking place in the last two weeks of April, the 3rd Degree Festival acts as a fantastic precursor to Liverpool Sound City and is a must attend for agents, labels and managers looking to source breaking bands.
2010 is also set to be a huge year for the 3rd Degree brand as for the first time it will be taken out of LIPA on a national tour linking up with venues across the country to further enhance its status as an important stepping stone for showcasing the very best young talent to a wider audience. Details of the tour will be up very shortly.
